We're here to help.
Resona captures sound and transforms it through six audio filters. Tap the capture button to record, then explore filters to reshape what you've captured.
Grant microphone access when prompted. Tap the capture button to start recording. Tap again to stop. Your recording is saved automatically.
After capturing, you'll enter the filter screen. Choose from six filters — Fossil, Ghost, Swarm, Rust, Tide, and Mirror — each with three adjustable parameters. Long-press any slider to learn what it does.
Save your filtered sound as a version. Long-press a saved version to lock it as a base layer, then apply another filter on top to stack effects.
Export your creation as a video with particle visualization or as an audio file. Share directly from the export screen.
Make sure your device isn't in silent mode and the volume is turned up. Resona uses the media audio channel, not the ringer.
That's the point! Each filter fundamentally transforms the audio. You can always tap "Original" to hear your unfiltered recording.
Save a version first. Then long-press the saved version chip to lock it as your base. Now choose a new filter — it processes on top of the locked version.
All recordings and versions are stored locally on your device. They appear in the Collection tab.
